My Top Picks for Brunch in Dallas

When it comes to brunch, Dallas doesn’t mess around. From chicken and waffles to a decked out mimosa bar, I’ve got you covered. This is by far one of the most asked questions I get from TTD readers when they are coming to visit the DFW area. With that, I am pleased to present you with a list of my top picks for a Dallas brunch. Cheers!

xx Ash

MY TOP PICKS FOR BRUNCH IN DALLAS

Breadwinners

With a few locations in the DFW area, Breadwinners never fails to impress! They are well known for their “Hangover Elixirs” and Benedict options, but I’m partial to the pancakes.

Public School 214

This modern American gastropub is known for its “Classroom” Decor, super cute! My favorite item on their brunch menu is the Eggs Benedict Pizza…delish!

Henry’s Majestic

This rustic yet chic spot is known for their fabulous mimosa bar and signature cocktails. Although I have yet to try this item on the menu personally, I hear great things about their chicken and waffles!

Origins

Needing a healthy, yet delicious brunch spot? This is your place. If you have food restrictions or looking for something Paleo friendly, they have a ton of options on their menu.

Sixty Vines

With a location in Plano and a new location in Uptown Dallas, Sixty Vines has been a huge hit for brunchers. Great food, chic atmosphere and an amazing mimosa bar. We always take our out-of-town guests here when they visit! Oh, and they also take reservations on Open Table.

Hatties

Located in Bishop Arts, Hatties is renowned for their southern-inspired cuisine. One of my all-time favorite spots for brunch!

Whiskey Cake

If you live in the North Dallas / Plano area, you have to try Whiskey Cake. This modern spot has some of the best chicken and waffles I’ve ever tried and a nice Bloody Mary bar! You can also make reservations on Open Table, which is a huge win.  If you go for dinner, be sure to try the Whiskey Cake…you’ll be glad you did!

Overeasy

Swanky decor and ambiance, located at the Statler Hotel in Downtown Dallas. Very hip and fun spot!

Oddfellows

Located in the Bishop Arts, Oddfellows is known for locally sourcing their produce, meats and dairy. Also known for their delicious pancakes!

Le Bilboquet

My friend and verified food + travel expert, Diana Oats, recommended I add this beautiful french spot to my list. It’s ideal if you are looking for something more refined or a place to celebrate a special occasion. If Diana recommends it, you know it’s good!

Mercat Bistro

This Instagram worthy spot has one of my favorite patios (and cappuccinos). Whether you’re in the mood for house-made pastries or a ham & cheese omelet, this French bistro will not disappoint.

How fun! There are so many great hotels in Dallas, but I would say a few of my personal fav are: The Joule, The Adolphus, or the Crescent! I hope you enjoy your time in TX! Xo

Coming to Dallas in a couple weeks so this is perfect. If you had to pick two, which are you favorites? We want to do the whole mimosas brunch thing and then do some shopping after. Any of these in a better location for shopping? TY

There are several on this list that are close to some pretty great shopping! I would have to recommend Le Bilboquet/Henry’s Majestic which is near shops/boutiques in Knox Henderson. There is also breadwinners on McKinney which is a couple blocks away from West Village which has great shops. Lastly there is another Breadwinners location at the NorthPark Mall which has just about every store you could possibly think of! Enjoy your time in Dallas! Xo
