Every year, one of my most popular requests is to review the selections from Beauty. I’ve already shared my clothing picks last week (did you see the boyfriend blazer…cute right?).
Each item I listed below is something I have personally tried and currently use on a regular basis. This is a great time to stock up on those brands that you love and use while they are on sale.
You already know that I am very much a beauty junkie, but I also have my “top shelf” products that I consider best of the best. Many of which are included in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Beauty
NÉCESSAIRE THE BODY DUO
If you’ve followed my blog or Instagram, you already know I’m a huge fan of Nécessaire products. We use both the Eucalyptus Body Wash and Unscented Lotion and stocked up again while they are marked down. PS: If you use Tan-Luxe, this is the lotion I use with The Body Drops.
TOO FACE LIP INJECTION EXTREME SET
This is one of my favorite lip plumpers. It’s really spicy and tingly — you will notice it working right away. I put this on my lips before lipstick or liner. I leave it on for a minute or so and then apply my lip liner and lipstick. This set comes with a full-size Better Than Sex Mascara, which is also a great mascara if you want thick lashes. I always layer this with a primer for extra impact.
RIKI LOVES MIRROR
This is what I use when I film makeup tutorials or need better light when I do my makeup. It’s not necessarily a “must”, but if you are looking to step up your IGTV/YouTube game or just want the best lighting for makeup, this is your mirror. I was hesitant to spend this much on a mirror, but I’ve been really impressed with the quality. I love it!
LE LABO PARFUME SET
I get this set every year and it’s one of the best buys from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 Beauty Exclusives. Santal 33 is the only perfume that people (pre-COVID) would stop to ask what I’m wearing. This is still a splurge, but worth it since it’s a perfume that lasts all day.
T3 SINGLEPASS 1.25 INCH CURLING IRON
This curling iron is the perfect size if you want big loose curls or textured waves. I’ve had mine for about 3 years now and it’s still going strong!
ORIBE GOLD LUST AND DRY TEXTURE SPRAY SET
If you use Oribe, you know how rare it is to find their products marked down (especially on their best sellers). This set is $64 for two full-sized products. I love how the Dry Texture spray makes my hair feel — it doesn’t weigh my hair down yet still gives me a good texture. The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale 2020 beauty sale is one of the best times to buy Oribe at a discount.
LANCOME HYPNOSE DRAMA LASH SET
When I’m not using my Lashify Lashes, this is one of my top choices for mascara. It gives you major drama, curl and volume. I’ve been using this for the past 5 or so years and always stock up during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I also love that it comes with a mini makeup remover, they are the perfect size if you are traveling.
KOPARI DEODORANT SET (3 PACK)
If you are a fan of natural deodorants, this Kopari Set is a great deal. They are full size and include their most popular scents. I alternate between Kopari and Native. Truly, they work like a regular deodorant. Highly recommend!
CHARLOTTE TILBURY PILLOW TALK LIP SECRETS SET
It’s no surprise Pillow Talk has achieved cult status. It’s such a pretty neutral tone liner that allows you to “sculpt” your lips without it being too obvious. So if you want that subtle overdrawn look, this set is for you. I have not tried the lipgloss, so I can’t speak for that. But knowing how good the other Charlotte Tilbury products are, I don’t doubt it!
