I have always been more of a jeans and blouse kind of gal, but lately dresses are becoming my item of choice. They are perfect for this weather. I wore this Military Swing Dress during our recent trip to NYC and found it was perfect for a casual afternoon walking around Central Park and (window) shopping on 5th Ave.
I love swing dresses because they look great alone, but even better paired with a jacket or some type of layer. It was too warm that afternoon in NYC, but I had hoped to throw on this denim jacket to complete the look. I loved wearing it with my brown leather ankle boots and found this whole outfit to be very comfortable.
PS- If you are in the Dallas area, I would love for you to stop by tomorrow’s event at Neiman Marcus, Plano! There will be sips, treats and giveaways. The runway presentation will start around 6:00. Read more details here.
