The Sephora Spring Bonus Event is here!

The Sephora Spring Bonus Event is here! And if you are a self-proclaimed beauty junkie or simply wanting to update your beauty bag, now is the time to take advantage of these site-wide discounts. I listed below my tried and true products that can all be found on sale. Let me know if you pick any of these up during the beauty event!

Sephora  Spring Bonus 2019 Details

April 26 was the first day of the sale giving Sephora Rouge members first access to shop the event at 20% off with code HEYROUGE. The sale will be opening up to VIB and Insider levels starting May 2. VIB members will get 15% with code HEYVIB off and Insiders will get 10% off with code HEYINSIDER. The sale ends May 6th at Midnight!

MAKEUP

Many of these have been rebuys for me and you may have seen them pop up on here before. If you have any questions, feel free to comment below and I’ll do my best to answer!

FACE

SPLURGE: TOM FORD ILLUMINATING PRIMER or SAVE: FENTY BEAUTY PRO FILT’R INSTANT RETOUCH PRIMER Both of these are great primers. I am partial to the Tom Ford one because it does give you a beautiful glow (and I love TF cosmetics), but I know it’s pricey. The Fenty option still gives you a smooth canvas but doesn’t have illuminating properties. Highly recommend either!

HOOLA MATTE BRONZER LITE  (I’ve purchased this twice!) This is a very nice bronzer for summer time. It’s matte and gives a very light hint of color. Not ideal for contouring, but it’s nice to give your skin some color or a “just back from the beach” glow.

TOM FORD BRONZER BRUSH- 05 My favorite bronzer brush. This is the only time I would buy this though, don’t pay full price for it.

LAWLESS SEAL THE DEAL LOOSE SETTING POWDER- CLASSIC IVORY  Very similar to the cult favorite, Laura Mercier Loose Powder, but clean and talc free.

BARE MINERALS BARE PRO – SANDALWOOD 15 (I’ve purchased this twice!) This is the foundation I have been wearing during my pregnancy. My dermatologist recommended I switch to Bare MInerals to help with acne a few years ago and this foundation is actually pretty good.

TOO FACED CHOCOLATE SOLEIL LONG WEAR MATTE BRONZER  Everyone raves about this bronzer, and I can see why. I bought the mini size and will go back and buy the bigger size once I finish this one. It’s perfect if you are wanting to contour.

NARS THE MULTIPLE  IN PORTOFINO- DUSTY ROSE (I’ve purchased this twice!) I use this as my blush and apply with a dense foundation brush. It’s a cream but goes on like a powder so you can apply after you’ve set your foundation.

EYES

BECCA UNDER EYE BRIGHTENING SETTING POWDER I love this under eye powder! Pair this with the Charlotte Tilbury Magic Away and you will look like you had 8 hours of sleep and doesn’t settle in fine lines.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY MAGIC AWAY LIQUID CONCEALER- 01 FAIR  By far one of the best under-eye concealers I’ve tried. It’s hydrating, doesn’t crease and provides great coverage. Be sure to go a shade lighter than your skin tone.

DIORSHOW PLUMPING LASH PRIMER You already know I’m obsessed with this!

LIPS

CHARLOTTE  TILBURY PILLOW TALK LIPSTICK Pair this with the cult favorite lip liner for full, plump lips.

CHARLOTTE TILBURY PILLOW TALK LIP LINER  (I’ve purchased three of these over the years!)

TOM FORD NAKED 01  I did a big review of this in my nude lipsticks post. If you’ve wanted to try Tom Ford, now is the time to buy. I never pay full price if I can find it on sale.

SKINCARE

I’m very picky about my skincare. These are a few of my tried and true picks that are all a part of the Sephora Spring Bonus Event!

FACE

INDIE LEE BRIGHTENING CLEANSER Between my Instagram stories and blog, I have several reviews on this cleanser. I love love love it!

SUMMER FRIDAYS JET LAG MASK (I’ve purchased this twice!)

OLEHENRIKSEN TRUTH SERUM COLLAGEN BOOSTER  (I’ve purchased this twice!) Ideal if you are looking for a vitamin c treatment to lighten old acne scars or dark spots.

SUNDAY RILEY GOOD GENES This has been the best product for me to use during my pregnancy for acne. Since I’m so limited on what I can use, this has been really effective!

EYES

OLEHENRIKSEN  BANANA BRIGHT EYE CREME  This is a newer product for me, actually got a mini with my insider points and really like it. People go nuts for this eye cream!

LIPS

LANEIGE LIP SLEEPING MASK  Not enough praise for this. Although I do wish it was in a squeeze tube or something more convenient for on the go (I use this more than just sleeping). I will be taking this in my hospital bag during labor. I did a big review over this last year if you want more info on how to use, etc.

BODY

TAN LUXE THE BODY- LIGHT/MEDIUM (I’ve purchased this twice!) Tan Luxe is truly the best for a natural looking faux tan. I do this every 3-4 days. I have a big review here!

TAN LUXE THE GRADUAL Think Jergens but 100x better. I use this about twice a week and pick a day that I don’t use The Body. It helps prolong your tan and give you a natural glow.

PRODUCT DETAILS:

Leatherology White Monogram Pouch c/o | Fendi pouch is vintage, but I always find good options here

Love your blog and your instagram and have followed you for years. However, I’m confused with some of your recommendations. It seems like you’re really careful with ingredients for skincare, but then some of your makeup recommendations have horrible ingredients and so much silicone and talc! I look forward to your recommendations, but most of the makeup ones here have me a bit disappointed (eg. Tom Ford products have so many chemicals).

      Hi Emerson,

Thank you for your comment! I’m definitely not perfect when it comes to clean beauty. I wish I was better! Makeup is a tough one for me bc I haven’t found a ton of clean makeup products that work well with my skin. Do you have brands that you like? Skincare on the other hand, I am more ingredient focused and have had pretty good luck finding clean products that work for me. Let me know a few brands I should try and I’d be happy to put together some reviews! XX AR

I’ve been more of a “silent” follower but I’ve loved your blog for years. Seriously, you put together the most thoughtful and meaningful posts. I only trust your reviews! Thank you.

Are you still using all of these skincare products while your pregnant? I’m 6 months and I have been nervous to keep up with my same routine! I need some pregnancy safe products.

      Hi Trina,

Yes! The skincare list I am currently using. It’s always a good idea to run the ingredient list by your doctor and do your research since every pregnancy is different. As you can imagine, my doctor and I have become very close these past 9 months…I send her everything before I try it. Ha! xx AR
