It’s no secret I’m a happy Rent The Runway customer. I’ve been sharing my orders here and there on my Instagram stories and here on TTD. And many of you have told me how much you love Rent the Runway Unlimited too — I know, it really is as good as they say.
If you haven’t jumped on the bandwagon, be sure to check out my Q&A that I did earlier this year going over everything you need to know about signing up for RTR Unlimited.
Over the past 2 years of being a loyal subscriber, I’ve come to learn some hacks when it comes to your monthly order. I’d love to know yours if you have any!
4 Tips to Make the Most Out Of Rent The Runway Unlimited
1. Subscribe to emails. I know what you’re thinking, but hear me out. This isn’t spam. They let you know about new arrivals, brand collaborations and style notes on what’s going on this season. If you’re a loyal RTR subscriber you will want this email so you can get dibs when new products arrive.
2. Utilize your “hearts”. I have several folders for items on my wish list (aka, items I desperately want to rent but they are not available in my size) and they are always my go-to when I am ready to place a new order. If you have the app, it’s really easy to add things to your favorites.
3. Hold on to what you love. Did you know that you can buy items you love off RTR for 10% (or more) off retail price? If you love an item that you rented and feel like it would be a staple in your wardrobe, you may want to consider buying it at the discounted price.
4. If you’re ready for something new, return it ASAP. This may seem like a no brainer, but the sooner you send back an item, the sooner you can select another one for the month. Remember, Rent The Runway Unlimited means unlimited swaps each month so if you are ready to part with an item, go ahead and take it to one of these locations or to your local UPS. If I’m lucky, I can get 6 swaps in a month.
