Today is the first day of school. It’s this time of year where I am reminded of how truly blessed I am to have my job. It’s not always easy…it definitely can be challenging, but I can truly say I have a job that I love and enjoy. I can’t wait to get this year going! I hope my new friends are as excited as I am. To start off the year I made these little goody bags that were handed out at Meet the Teacher. They were a hit! I have the printable freebie HERE!
I discovered that using a shoe organizer {target dollar section-holla!} comes in great use for holding my sentence strip “games” for the kiddos to use. They actually kept it pretty organized…fingers crossed for this year too! 🙂
I added paper plates this year and my plan is to have the words on labels and add them as we go! Sticky notes..and tape just didn’t do the trick last year. Modify and Adjust right?
I hang work off the boarder…I love how it looks when we have great work to show off!
Loving the name change 🙂
99% of the time you will see a sonic or starbucks drink on my desk…oh the little things that get you through the day!
I just LOVE my “Teacher Tool Box”. I changed it up a little from last year…and yes I have a spot for my little hand sanitizers. How can you resist the bath and body works little bottles? I use them as a tool for behavior management and call tehm “hand smellys”. The kids love it and it helps keep the germs away! Thanks for reading and Happy 1st Day to all my teacher friends out there! It’s going to be a FABULOUS year!

Thanks, I made it! I got a thick canvas and it was already black so that was easy. I went to Party City and bought a mask…added glitter, then tried my best to write cute! 🙂

What lucky kids to have a teacher like you! My first grade class room (in 1945) didn’t look anything like this!

Omg! I just love how organized your classroom is. So me! I know you posted this 2012, but I have been looking at your blog for a couple days now. I love it! I also love, love, love the teacher toolbox. I can find those boxes at any craft store right? I’m going to be a preschool teacher soon! I hope I can pull something like this off! 😩❤️
