Welp, today marked the start of a new school year for students all over north Texas and my 4th year of teaching. It was such a great day! I’m completely exhausted but that’s to be expected. I’m really looking forward to this year and excited to get to know my new first grade friends. As promised, here are some of my classroom pics. You know I don’t post a lot of teacher-y things, but this is my virtual scrapbook and this is a passion of mine so I feel it needs to be documented!
I have added a few new things that I think will help me stay organized and well, look pretty. Like the “Let’s Always Be Sweet” Ice Cream board as a tool for behavior management with tables and the Teacher Anchor by C. Jane Teach. Chandra, from C. Jane Teach really helped me big time this year with all of her organization materials. Like, this girl is awesome. She makes all types of planners and organization materials to help keep teachers on top of things and manage their time wisely. Not to mention, this mug is pretty dang cute too! You can find her Teacher Anchor and other organizational tools here!

How did you do the labels?
Ashley Robertson says
Hi Laila,
Thank you for reaching out again! I’m not sure which exact label you’re talking about, but I created all of my labels and/or a girl on my team helped create them! Sorry my answer isn’t very helpful. xx, Ashley

All your labels! So perfect! I had a problem creating labels for when I was going to be observed in the classroom. The kids ruined them! You put tape over the label? I love a organized classroom. I’m such a neat and organized person. Is there somewhere else I can contact you if possible? When I become a preschool teacher I need your help. Thank you.
Ashley Robertson says
Hi Laila,
Oh, I can totally relate to that! I would laminate them on card stock AND put tape across them to adhere them to the bins. I would still have some kids pick at them and peel them up, but at least they weren’t damaged and I could re-tape them. Feel free to e-mail me at theteacherdiva@gmail.com for any other questions! xx, Ashley
